Bridged networking is grayed out on both a Win7 and XP VM. I can't find anything in the Desktop Guide to address this. How do I restore this networking option?

    Thanks.

    Thanks for the reply, Eric.

Screen shot attached. I can't capture the pulldown - giving Grab the focus closes the Type: pulldown. The pulldown entries are:
    Shared Networking, <divider>, Bridged Networking: (grayed out), Default Adapter, Ethernet 1, Ethernet 2, vmnet1, vmnet8, vnic0, vnic1, <divider>, Hose-Only Networking.

Only Bridged Networking is grayed out.

    OSX 10.6.5, Parallels 5.0.9376. 2009 Mac Pro, 4 x 2.66 GHz, 12 GB RAM.

Problem exists on both an XP Pro client and a Win7 client.

Aha! Now I understand. The thing is that grayed-out 'Bridged Networking' serves just as a separator between "Shared/HostOnly" and "Default/Ethernet1/etc". All items below this grayed out string are bridged.

Aha! Didn't tumble to that. Thanks. Working fine now with Type: set to Default adapter.
