Broken Virtual Links when External Drive is Re-connected

Hi,

I have a number of VMs so I keep them on an external solid-state. As expected, the links are broken if the external isn't available, but they don't relink after the external is re-connected. Is there a way that I don't need to remove, re-open and re-sort all vms again?
