I have a lot of these messages in my Mac's log file, related to Parallels. "Windows 11 Parallels M3 Max" is the name of my Windows 11 VM.
24-06-01 15:30:26.583 TimeMach Failed to read capabilities for '/Volumes/[C] Windows 11 Parallels M3 Max.hidden', error: Operation not permitted

I conferred with Howard Oakley, Eclectic Light Company, and he said this:
Parallels is mounting a hidden Windows 11 volume, presumably from your Windows VM, and TM is unable to get information about that volume's capabilities from it. It has been a while since I last ran a Windows 11 VM in Parallels, although I'm just about to do further exploration of that for another project. However, I don't think that you can do anything about that, and it's a problem that Parallels really needs to address, I think. As the volume is hidden, I don't think you'll be able to add it to TM's exclusion list, and that's something that Parallels needs to work around. I wonder if this persists after you've quit Parallels, or whether it only happens when TM runs a backup while Parallels is running, and that hidden volume is mounted?

    To which I discovered:
I shut down the Windows VM and quit Parallels and ran a TM backup. No error messages! So his reasoning is probably correct.

I have reported this as a bug, #4778787. Do other Parallels users see this error in their log file? To make it easy, I used Howards Mints app and filtered for Time machine msgs - there are A LOT of them. And, It happens on 2 Macs that I have running Parallels.
