Hi guys
I have Windows 7 running on an iMac i7 with build 5.0.9344, to which I upgraded last week.
With this build I have one application (a .NET financial application) which exhibits a frozen GUI every 5 mins or so. I say frozen GUI because I can tell that it is still running in the background as it is still showing network activity etc, but does not respond to mouse clicks or keyboard input. When I kill it using Task Manager it responds to the close request with an "Are you sure ?" dialog, but I still can't click it.
So far I have not found any other apps that miss behave.
I tried disabling 3D, set it to 1 CPU, loaded a Parallels tools hotfix, restored a backed up VM and tried it. Nothing helped.
Today I fixed it by back-grading Parallels to version 5.0.9220 (being the only other version that I kept).
So ... any ideas why build 9344 could have set off some GUI issue ?
Also, is there any way to get access to previous builds ? I would like to see what is between build 9220 and 9344
Thanks
Guy
