Are there any known problems with Call Of Duty Black Ops and Parallels 6/Windows XP? I have been trying to get the game to run, but it freezes after the opening sequence. I have tried re-installing the game, but still have the same problem. I am using the AVG virus protector which I disabled, to no avail. There do not seem to be any existing discussion threads about this as a problem. Thanks, James

James, this game requires multiple CPU cores. Just add second CPU to your VM configuration.

I couldn't get Black Ops to work with Parallels. It runs flawlessly through Boot Camp though.

    Dear Serv,

Thanks heaps for that, it works perfectly now. I feel like such a dill; I had tried increasing the RAM, but did not think of increasing the number of cores! Thanks again. James
