I'm using Serif's MoviePlus on Windows 7 via Parallels 8 on a MacBook Pro with OSX 10.9.5 Mavericks.
MoviePlus is a video editing programme, (similar perhaps to iMovie) that allows me to export and burn an edited movie to a DVD. By clicking 'Connect' on the Device menu, I'm able to do this using the MacBook Pro's optical drive.
Another export option that MoviePlus has is to burn a virtual disk - an ISO file. Am I able to create an ISO disk image in Parallels?

Hi Brian, please follow the steps suggested below:
Start Parallels Desktop > Go to your Virtual machine's Configuration > Switch to Hardware tab -> CD/DVD Drive. Choose Default CD/DVD from the Connect to: drop-down list > Restart VM and check if the issue still persistent,
If the issue still persisting, please contact Serif's technical support, check whether this app is compatible with virtual machines and let us know so that we can help you better.
