Can I link programmes from my VM to Mac?

Very simple question with (probably) a not so simple question....

I want to run my Goldmine CRM on my VM and run everything else in Mac. Am I able to link my e-mail which is in Outlook (Mac) with my Goldmine which will be running on my VM?

Also if this is not possible and I have to run Outlook and GM on my VM, if I open an e-mail with an attachment can i open it so that it is displayed in Mac? i.e. i receive an e-mail with a pdf attachment and i double click it can I open it on the Mac side rather than the Windows VM?

Thank you for any help with this one as the help desk at Parallels can not answer either of the above!

That is possible. Once you install your app on the Windows side, click on Virtual Machine at the top Mac menu bar > Configure > Options > Applications and set the email to be opened on the Mac side. See the screenshot for more info -
