Can I update my parallels version through the trial version?

Hello,

I have an old version of Parallels that will. no longer work on my Mac. I dowloaded and installed the trial version of the current software. My question is, since I have the old version and really only need to upgrade to the newest version, can I do with this without uninstalling the trial version? Thanks in advance :)
