Can I use Parallels to run already installed Sierra while in Catalina?

Hi, I am thinking of purchasing Parallels, as I just installed Catalina but am finding certain apps are not working. Instead of dual booting when I need to use my Sierra apps, I am hoping something like Parallel can allow me to be in my Catalina system and run my Sierra system virtually. I have Catalina and Sierra on separate SSDs.

1. Download your macOS Sierra 10.12 installation file from ( https://support.apple.com/HT211683 ).
2. Then to install your virtual machine in Parallels Desktop, please refer to https://kb.parallels.com/124403 and follow the instructions. Thanks.
