So I had Windows 7 running fine w/boot camp before I installed Parallels.

I then install Parallels 7.0.15050 and whenever I restart my mac + try to start windows 7 natively, I get a black screen.

I can still boot my boot camp partition fine from w/in Parallels, but not natively.

    How can I fix this?

    I have a late 2011 15in MBP

Yea that didn't help @ all, it doesn't work. Restart is greyed out.

    Anyone have any ideas?

I suggest you to run check disk in you boot camp from inside the virtual machine.

    Open cmd.exe, type in

    chkdsk /r

Press enter and restart the VM. After operation is finished try to boot into boot camp natively.

It's a black screen I can do nothing. Start Mac, hold option, choose windows - black screen nothing. No cursor nothing

If I had a command prompt I would have been fiddling around before posting here ;)

    Any other suggestions?

    Native boot no longer working.

I also have the same issue. There was a short time where Windows 7 would boot natively, but now it no longer does. My Windows boots fine within Parallels. I am running:

    OS X - 10.7.2
    1.8 GHz Intel Core i7
WIndows 7 Ultimate, Service Pack 1, 64 bit

When I press option at boot, I see my partitions, and when I select Windows, it goes it tries to boot, but then restarts the boot and goes into a normal boot cycle. I never see and Windows boot screens at all. I did run chkdsk, but that did not solve my problem.

Does anyone have any suggestions - there are times when I need to run natively. Thanks!
