can only print one copy

Hi, I am going crazy. I am running Parallels 5 build 9370 with Windows XP SP3. When I try to print multiple copies to my HP Laserjet printer it only prints 1. I have tried playing with the driver, disabling advanced features, changing printing processors, etc. I don't know how to fix this. I have to print 40 copies of something and don't want to hit the print button 40 times. I have tried this with both the color laserjet 8500 driver as well as the apple driver that is also recommended to be used. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.
 
Install the Windows print driver for your printer, (if the printer is USB then attach it to the virtual machine using the Devices -> USB menu), then print using that driver instead of the Parallels Tools "HP Color LaserJet 8500 PS" driver.

Another solution is to install cups-pdf, set the virtual machine's Printer Port to CUPS-PDF, print to "HP Color LaserJet 8500 PS" to create a PDF file, then use Preview on the Mac to print multiple copies of the PDF.
