    Error Code 0x80004005

I was successfully using XP via both boot camp and parallels for the first few days after installation. Now I can use XP via boot camp, but when trying to access via Parallels I get a message saying windows needs to be activated. I click on OK to activate now, but then get another message: "There is a problem preventing Windows from accurately checking the license for this computer. Error Code: 0x80004005."

Does anyone know a solution to this? I have not been able to find a solution to this elsewhere.

Of course, I'd like to try to avoid a complete re-install.

I followed the directions from MS for this Error Code, which required replacing several system32 files associated with activation from the XP CD. The files are:
    wpa.dbl
    pidgen.dll
    actshell.thml
    licdll.dll
    regwizc.dll
    licwmi.dll
    wpabaln.exe

I still get the same error.
