Can Parallels recognize the Boot Camp partition installed on a removable drive?

I once installed Windows directly on macOS using BootCamp and loaded it up perfectly with Parallels. So that when I rebooted into the Windows platform to finish my heavy 3D graphics design and rendering work, I could still access the files in macOS via Parallels, even do some light modification. This convenience allows me to work mostly in macOS only.

But after recently getting an MBP, it's not enough to expand a separate Boot Camp partition on the main hard drive. So I installed Windows 10 to the removable drive via Rufus and was able to boot successfully, but it was not recognized in Parallels. Is there any possible to use a whole removable drive as a Parallels virtual Harddisk?

    I've tried this instruction: https://kb.parallels.com/112941
It's not working in my situation, when I configure the Hard Disk source, the external partition(with WindowsGo OS installed) won't show as a source in the drop-down list.
