Can Parallels run a dedicated Vista HD?

Sorry if this has been dealt with elsewhere, haven't found anything.

Runnign a MacPro with mulitiple hard drives, one of which is a dedicated Windows Drive with Vista 32-bit installed.

No problems booting to this drive, but I'd like to occasionally be able to run it in Parallels. Tried setting up a custom VM choosing the "Use Boot Camp" option but can't get this to work.

Any tips?
 
Yes, you should be able to use your Vista hard drive in Parallels. Either use this script I've created (be sure to select not to start Parallels) and add it to your login items (so that it can correct the disk id automatically after a restart) or follow the instructions on this post.

Thanks for the replies. I've done that, and now Parallels tries to boot the Vista OS, but the boot hangs after the following text:

640 KB Base Memory
1536000 KB Extended Memory
Boot from hard drive...

Could there be anything else going on?
 
Hmm. Looks like Parallels killed my vista drive. After trying to boot up in parallels as discussed above, could not boot it with Boot Camp either. Had to reinstall. I'm not going to try booting this drive in Parallels again.
