Cannot Activate, Logic Board Changed but only has Upgrade Key but not original Key

Dear Parallel Support

Apple recently replaced Logic Board on my Mac Air 2013. But then my Parallel 14 could only start in Trial mode.

I bought Parallel 9 originally in 2014 and then upgraded to Parallel 14 in 2019.

After logic board change (same SSD, not changed). I tried to enter my Parallel 14 key which is a full license., but then it asks for the original key as the 14 key was an upgrade key. I have no idea where my Parallel 9 key was kept.

I then searched support help, which suggests to look for the long serial number using Mac Terminal. I found that, but it says send to support. But I cannot email to support. So therefore stuck.

Please can anyone give me advice.

I am happy to upgrade to the latest license, but then since I don't have the original Parallel 9 key and that the logic board has changed, I am not sure if I can just pay the upgrade to 16 and worried that it won't start as it may ask for the parallel 9 key.

Did you use another email address for purchase and registration?
You can also purchase the Parallels Desktop 16 upgrade and use your Parallels Desktop 14 as a confirmation one.

Hi Maria, thank you for help. You are correct, I did use an old gmail account when I purchased parallel 9. That email is no longer active, but I can send you that email address for you to verify?

And if I buy upgrade for parallel 16 from 14; will I still need to continue to remember my old parallel 9 key for activation of parallel 16; and after the upgrade to 16 and subsequent upgrades, would I need to remember parallel 9 key forever which I don't have?

(btw, I ran the key check command at the Mac Terminal, would that be useful for you to help retrieve my parallel 9 key.)

And sorry for the rush, the my parallel trial (on 14) will running out in a few days, appreciate your quick help on the above.

You can send your old email via the private message. Then we will check it for you.
And you can just purchase 16 version upgrade, and use your Parallels Desktop 14 key as a confirmation one (and you do not need to remember 9 version key)
But just for you we will be glad to help you and find your Parallels Desktop 9 license key.
