Cannot Change Resolution

I am unable to change my windows desktop resolution. It is locked in display in windows.

I tried:
1. Changing the resolution under view in Parellels (both scaled and best for retina)... this does nothing whatsoever
2. Installed Paralells toolbox in windows, only one resolution is supplied.

I am very confused as to what is going on here. All of the forums point no where, rather frustrating for someone trying out a software
 
nevermind, i found out that tools is different than TOOLBOX

In short, if anyone reads this, you do NOT want toolbok. you want Parallel tools.
