Cannot drag from Mac desktop to Windows Desktop

Hello I have Maverick 10.92 which is the newest and I have Parallels Build 8.0.18615 and using Windows 8.1 I have installed and reinstalled the " parallel tools" what's wrong here. I have selected share my Mac and Smart amount and share windows but none of this helps.
Should this program still work even know I am using Maverick because when I had the previous OS it worked.

Hello vicn,

Please try to uninstall Parallels Tools from Control Panel and then install Parallels Tools again as suggested at : http://kb.parallels.com/4841

Also ensure that Isolate Mac from Windows option is disabled under : VM Config ( http://kb.parallels.com/117287 ) -> Options -> Security
