Cannot Find Virtual Machine Configuration Menu Option

I remember having a Configure menu option but now it seems to have disappeared.

On the Parallels menu (top right of screen to left of spotlight) I don't have an option Configure below devices as this article shows: http://kb.parallels.com/117287. All I have is:

Windows Start Menu
Devices
Exit Coherence
Convenience Store
Request Support
Parallels Desktop Help
Quit Parallels Desktop

So where does one go to configure the virtual machine? I never get the Parallels Desktop top menu (top right of the apple) and cannot find any application on my system that launches the parallels configuration option.

I use Parallels 7 with Win/7 VM.
 
Hi RickMeister,

To get to the Parallels Desktop menu=> Please choose exit Coherence and Parallels Desktop menu would be available next to Apple icon.

When your Virtual Machine is running in Coherence mode, click on Parallels tray icon in the Mac status bar and press Alt key and choose Configure from the drop-down list.
