Cannot get past the Windows XP acceptance screen

I have just purchased a new Macbook and am trying to load Windows into Parallels 4.0 When I am asked to press F8 to accept the terms nothing happens. I even plugged in my iMac keyboard with the sames results. F8 does not seem to work!
 
With a Macbook, the function keys have dual purposes. Check the keyboard settings in System Preferences to make sure the keyboard is set to have the function keys work as standard function keys and not as the special functions printed on them. Else just press Fn+F8.
