Hi, I am running parallels desktop 3.0 (build 5160). When i try to install amazon unbox (amazon's video player from amazon.com), it gives me an error "Error 1606. Could not access network location \\.PSF\.Home\.Desktop\.
I am sure other people have installed this software on parallels. What do i need to do to correct this problem?

Thank you.

I'm having the same error trying to install another application. Did you find a resolution for this?

Thanks,
David

Hello,

try to do the following:
1. Open Control Panel->Network and Sharing Center->Manage network connection.
2. Right click Parallels Network Adapter and choose properties.
3. Click Install.
4. Choose Add service.
5. Click Have disk, browse for C:\Program Files\Parallels\Parallels Tools\PrlNP.inf and install it.
I hope it will help.

Best regards,
Stacey

I tried this but did not have PrINP.inf listed. I'm not entirely sure how I did it but the problem resolved itself.
