    Hi everyone,

I've tried searching around but unable to find answer. I have MacBook Pro 16 i9 with Radeon Pro 5500M 8GB graphics card running on Parallels 16. I've installed an application in my Windows VM that requires DirectX11 but when I open it it says my machine does not support DirectX11 and closes.
Running dxdiag in Windows shows version DirectX12 in the system tab, but under the display tab the feature levels show only 10_1,10_0, 9, etc.
I have tried configuring the VM with various hardware settings (to maximise graphics performance) but nothing seems to get the application to work.

Any ideas? Why are the feature levels for display two versions below the system version? I would presume the graphics card would support current levels.

    Thanks in advance!

I figured it out. I had video.metal=0 in the boot order from a previous troubleshooting exercise. Once removed, DirectX11 features restored.
