Cannot save to CD

Please Help.

I cannot save or move pdf or MS Word files to CD. I have the CD-ROM drive connected in the VM and am using a writable CD. It tells me either "Access Denied" or depending on how I do it "Files are Read Only". It is not the CD--I have tried new writable CDs with the same result as ones I can write to using my Windows computer.

Sure. The guest and host are separate machines (logically) and can be networked. You can copy files back and forth between networked machines, and the same techniques work for host and guest. Just set up networking if you haven't already, share a folder on the network, attach it in the other machine, and copy away. Note that if you are doing the copying from OSX, the VM must be running, since copying to or from a machine that is off doesn't work very well.
