Cannot type / or ' in windows 10 on Parallels

i just downloaded the newest Parallels and updated window 10. Unfortunately I cannot type either / or ' in Windows 10 because I get é in both cases. I have my language and keyboard settings on US English in both my MacOS high sierra and windows 10. Any ideas how to fix this?

Hi @BennyC2 , please click on Configure > Hardware> Keyboard and mouse > Select "Do not optimize for games" and check if that works.

Unfortunately I already that Do Not optimize for games checked off so it didn't work. Any other ideas would really help.
