Can't activate Win XP after Parallels install?

Hello folks.

I installed Parallels. During the install it asked me for my Win activation code. I entered it.

Then after Win completed installing, Win asked me for the activation code. I entered it. Win tells me that I have already used that code and won't let me activate.

What happened?

And yes, this is full retail version of XP Home.

Can't you activate XP over the phone, too? Try doing that.
