Can't Activate Windows 10 with a valid license after reinstallation

- Parallels Desktop 12 Pro
- Windows 10 (Enterprise license and ISO)
- Macbook Pro w/ El Cap - 500gb SSD, 16gb Ram

When I initially installed Windows 10 on this machine the activation key worked, but the installation was slow and glitchy. I figured it had something to do with File Vault, so I turned it off to see if it would run better. Nothing. I removed the old installation and reinstalled Windows 10 without FileVault on. Now it seems to work great. No stuttering. It performs practically natively. However, I can't seem to reactivate my license.

When I start up the Window 10 image, on the desktop it tells me to go to setting and activate. When I go to the activation area the last few character of the key do not match my the license I have. When I click activate, there is an error. When I click the change key option, that window freezes in place and nothing happens. The window then can't be closed. I can open other windows and it operates fine. However, I can't close that activate window, I get no message, or error. It's just stuck and it still tells me to activate Windows.

Any suggestions?

Hi GregC5,
Restart your Windows from Actions ( Mac Menu bar )> Restart or from Windows start menu > Power > Restart.
Follow steps outlined at this link and let us know how it goes. Thanks.
