Well,
I don't knwo exaclty when this happened but today I wanted to access my windows disk from my mac to scan it for viruses etc and move some data and well for some weird reason it dosent mount to my desktop anymore. So the first thing I did was revert my windows back to and older snapshop but both snapshopts I tried didnt work so I gave up on that idea.
I searched the net and found that apparnetly you can try mounting the HD directly so I tried this but this failed to with the following error message.
//.....Unable to get write access to the virtual hard disk. Do you want to open it in the read-only mode?
To be able to modify the virtual hard disk contents, you must have read-write permissions for its file. ....//
clicked ok and then this
//.....Parallels Mounter is unable to open the virtual hard disk.
Either the hard disk has no volumes or its file system is not supported or contains errors. Start your virtual machine and check the disk for file system errors. .....//
well then I read to try and duplocate the HD and try it again but the same thing happened with the duplicate.
The HD package contents show this information:
Windows XP-0.hdd.0.{5fbaabe3-6958-40ff-92a7-860e329aab41}.hds
Windows XP-0.hdd.drh

I checked all the information if the Win XP drive is shared and the option in finder for connected servers is also clicked.
I also reinstalled bootcamp drivers in winxp and parallels tools.
Are there anymore ideas you can suggest?
Thansk for your help
