Can't download the additional components needed to install Mac*OS*X

Has anyone managed to install Lion as a Guest OS in Parallels 7?

Every time I try I just get the alert mentioned above.

The install log contains the following. Which seems to indicate that the request is timing out, but it is exactly the same place each and every time so I am not 100% convinced that that is what is what is actually happening

I think I ran in to the same problem.

I discovered that anytime the screensaver kicked in and I typed in my password to dismiss on the host os the download would get canceled in the guest os.

I had to disable the screen saver (set to never turn on) and remove the now broken vm and create a new one to get the os loaded.

Thanks

Unfortunately that wasn't it, but I think I know the problem

I actually bothered to read the license agreement and realised it is only the Appstore version they license you to install on a VM, not the preinstalled version. My Mac Mini is the new one so it comes with Lion pre-installed.

I tried on my MacBook Pro instead and it installed without problem.

Thanks

I had not trouble getting Lion to install as a guest on my 2011 iMac, which game with Lion pre-installed.
