I am trying out parallels on my 2012 macbook air, i use a program called My Movies and it does not offer full support for mac so this is what i have to use. The problem i am having and it does not happen all the time. I need to have the movie listings in a UNC Path. So i go into the start menu and I type in \\Macbook Air-XXXX and it is supposed to pop up with my MacHDD and the drive I have connected to the computer. The \\Macbook Air-XXXX is this computer, now 90% of the time I get the WINDOWS NETWORK SECURITY LOG ON the other 10% is just pulls up like it should. No matter what i put into the 2 dialog boxes, I cannot log on. It asks for a USERNAME and PASSWORD which I enter but to no avail can I log on?? Whats the deal how do I fix this? If I cant get this to work right every time then I cannot purchase this software. Any suggestions would help. I have googled everything pertaining to the network security logon and have done what has been said on the net. None of these have worked!
