after the vista install routine finishes copying the files from the cd and begins the installation it fails to read the hard drive. the error is
'Windows cannot access the required file
c:\$windows.~LS\sources\6acfee.....\install.swm
Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation.
Error code 0x80070490'

have xppro running fine. This is not an upgrade.
