Can't install Win XP

I have read through all the posts and have not found a solution to my problem. I have installed beta 2 build 3094 and selected windows express install (I also tried build 1970 and bootcamp with the same results). Just as the win xp setup screen is loading I get the following error which quickly flashes on the screen:

*** STOP: 0x0000008E (0x0000006, 0x8090EEA7, 0XF896491C, 0X00000000)

*** symc810.sys - Adress F896491C base at F896491C, DateStamp 00000000


Has anyone run into this problem? It is a brand new windows xp pro cd w/service pack 2. I get the same error messge when I try to install in Bootcamp as well. Are the disks bad?

If you can't use the CD when installing in Boot Camp as well as Parallels, then your CD is almost certainly bad.
