Hi there, I recently bought Parallels and am trying to get The Sims 2 to run, as the Apple App Store version is lacking essential DLC packs; I've installed the game on Windows 11 on my M1 2020 16GB MBP, however when I go to run the game, it refuses to load. It prompted me to install DirectX9, which I did, but that solved nothing. I also tried Compatibility / Admin modes, which also did nothing. Is this just an issue with the M1 chips? Or with W11? I've seen people getting this working, but have no idea why my instance is refusing to work. Any help would be appreciated! - Joe
Hello JoeG10, uninstall the Sims 2 to run the game and reinstall and provide the access to the game on Parallels desktop and check.
