I installed Parallels on my M1, got Windows 11, and after trying to get rid of the "Activate Windows" watermark by using two methods I found on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows10/comments/95sdga/how_to_remove_activate_windows_watermark/
    https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows11/comments/tggq0n/this_software_removes_the_watermark_from_the/
I activated it legitimately using a Windows key.

After using Windows for a while after that, I noticed that I could not open any files in Windows, and I cannot open File Explorer.
I tried opening disk management and clicking C: open from there, did not work.
I tried running windows update, and then restarting the VM, did not work.
I tried restarting the mac, did not work.
I tried checking "Isolate Windows from Mac", then Actions>Reinstall Parallels Tools, then unchecking "Isolate Windows from Mac", then Actions>Reinstall Parallels Tools, did not work.
I tried deleting Parallels Tools from the Mac by dragging the program into the Trash, then reinstalling it from the App Store, did not work.

If anyone can find a solution that would be great, thanks.

Here's a message that pops up ~30 seconds after each time I try to open any file or click on File Explorer.
