Can't Print from Quicken

Recently I upgraded from Parallels 5 to 6 and now I cannot print from Quicken 2011. I don't know if the upgrade is the issue or not. The printer (LaserJet 1022) is connected to an Airport. It prints normally from the Mac side whether Parallels is open or not. When I attempt to print checks from Quicken I get an error message which says, "Unable to verify the active printer at the system level. Please verify the printer is turned on and try again."

My OS is Snow Leopard 10.6.5

If anyone has a solution or suggestion, I would be appreciative. Do have a nice day.

Quicken 2011

Well, you've gotten further than me. Using P6 11990 Build I can't even upgrade Quicken from 10 to 11...once again Parallels is becoming worhtless more and more...meanwhile on a standard Windows build on Intel hardware I had no issues.
