    Hi

We have a client who has a fully updated Win 7 Pro x64 PC running 2X
Client v9. Now we are migrating to XG I need to upgrade their client
but am not able to do that and neither can I uninstall the client.

When we try to upgrade, either through Options > General > Update or
just by downloading and installing the client manually the
installation seems to work as normal but at the end it says
"Installation ended prematurely" (picture attached). This is the case with the 32bit and
64bit clients and I have tried v11 and v12 of the client.

I am not able to uninstall the 2X client either thru Control Panel.
When I try to remove the client it appears to uninstall but actually
it remains in add/remove programs and you can start it OK (minus it's
    settings) from the Start Menu.

The user has local admin permissions and the machine is not part of a
domain. The install log is attached.

We have also tried creating a new user account on the PC and uninstalling/installing but have the same problem.

    Many thanks
