Can't uninstall Parallels Desktop for Mac

I no longer have a need for Parallels Desktop, so am trying to uninstall it. I'm prevented from moving the app to trash with this error message: The item "Parallels Desktop.app" can't be moved to the Trash because some of its extensions are in use. How do I get round this please? I can free up 75GB of disk space by removing... Thanks in advance.

 

Hi DavidC54. Please restart your Mac once and try uninstalling the application.

This did not work for me. I jsut restarted my machine and Iw was unable to uninstall parallels from my Mac.
