Can't update Kaspersky database

For the past couple of weeks I get a "network error" when I try to update my Kaspersky 2010 AntiVirus (which doesn't expire until next month and updates normally on my laptop).

Clicking on Kaspersky Technical Support just leads me to the Paraellels forum.

Does anyone know why this is happening?
 
Update

I installed the 90-day Kaspersky trial that came with Parallels 6 but that didn't change the problem.
Then I chose Unintall Kaspersky from the menu, rebooted, then reinstalled Kaspersky.
The only Kaspersky program I can find is still Kaspersky 2009 and it still doesn't update,
giving me the same error message
