Can't upgrade to Parallels Desktop 11

Hi,

A friend of mine can't upgrade his Parallels Desktop 10 version to version 11.
I've downloaded version 11 on an iMac wich had 10 already installed and activated.
According to this knowledge base article: http://kb.parallels.com/en/123222 I should be able to update the licence from 10 to work with 11 but at the activation screen I get the message that my version 10 key can't be used with version 11.

Please help!
