Can't validate license

Hi there

On 2011 i installed a trial version of PD 6 on my mac (OS 10.5.8). Now i wanted to buy i license on the PD website but couldn't do so (as that version is not supported anymore) so i've bought an original copy of PD 6 on Ebay).
Now, the license key written on the box is not accepted to validate my copy of PD 6.

Where the problem could be?

Hi, could you please provide us with the screenshot of this issue?
