Can't write to folders - Windows 7

I can't pinpoint the issue but it seems that some programs are not installing when they try to extract to the users temp folder.

If this were os x I would repair permissions. Is there anything like that for Windows 7?

Are you using Shared Profile in Virtual Machine -> Configure -> Options -> Sharing? If so, try disabling it.

Shared Profile is not checked but most of the other options are enabled. Is tehre anything specific in the screenshot you think I should turn off or alter?

I don't know if any of those other options would help. Instead of changing those options, you could start with the "Isolate Mac from Windows" option in the Security options. This will disable most or all of the sharing options without having to change them yourself.
