Catch 22

I cannot get Windows to load because of a missing or corrupt file: system32\ntoskrnl.exe

I'd like to upgrade from Parallels 6 to Parallels 7 but cannot use the standard install routine, (it requires Windows to be running). Is there a way around this cunumdrum?

It is Windows corruption - nothing to do with Parallels. You need to get the Windows DVD in order to fix it. Please search the net or refer to this example solution http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000646.htm
