CD-burning fails

Don't understand why my Windows virtual should be corrupt. Nero has never worked. It didn't just stop working. Also Burn4Free works fine as a backup which writes to a CD-RW (I ultimately want to use DVD's with multiple backups on it). It just isn't the backup tool that I want or need.
 
judger48193, I will check Parallels with Nero 8.
It seems nero doesn't see a disc during burning.
I'll write you PM with results

I've tested Nero 8 with my WinXP home vm on PD4.
It works, but not with Mac drive :(
It successfully burned backup project with my external SONY DRX 820UL burner and it failed with built-in MATSHITA drive.
The buring on Matshita fails with error POWER CALIBRATION AREA ERROR.
 
Sorry. I don't understand your question about a real CD. I have been using Nero 8 under Parallels 5 for Mac to do backups to the Mac CD for quite a while now.
