So I have a strange question. I am looking to switch to Parallels form Fusion and have noticed some strange behavior. In Parallels with a Windows 7 install, it appears the Aero effect of minimizing/maximizing a window is a little choppy. The animation sort of stutters. However, if I open a web browser in the VM and play a video on youtube (even if I minimize it), everything seems MUCH smoother. It's almost as if there is some graphics mode switching that is going on. As soon as a I close the browser the choppy animation comes back. Even a simple window such as notepad is choppy. Anyone have ideas? It is really annoying to say the least. In Fusion 4 I do not have this issue. I am using an early 2011 MBP, 2.3ghz, 16GB ram. Thanks!
