Chrome browser (v.102.0.5005.61) crashes Monterey VM

Running Mac OS 12.4 Monterey in a VM on a 16" M1 MacBook Pro. Discovered that Chrome (v.102.0.5005.61) consistently crashes the VM after a few minutes of use. Fix seemed to be disabling hardware acceleration in Chrome (Advanced > System settings). Can anyone else confirm this?

Same issue with Ubuntu 20.04 VM + Chromium 103.0.5060.53 + 16" M1 Max MacBook Pro. Disabling HW acceleration in Chromium seems to help (only tested for several minutes since disabled it).

I noticed a similar issue with electron apps in both parallels and UTM that was also fixed by disabling gpu acceleration.

Seems like there's some problem in macOS, maybe?
