Chromium OS

How do you update to the latest build?

The one I have now says November but the latest builds are published almost ever week.

Anyone with luck on the latest Chrome OS?

Seems like Parallels is not able to recognize the boot sector of Hexxeh's Chrome OS on the USB. Note: Parallels does not have a direct boot option from USB flash drives, but the workaround is to add a 2nd harddisk + Bootcamp referencing the USB drive. This method has worked on a similar USB drive setup with a bootable GParted (as a control test). I can also confirm the Chrome OS USB can boot up on at least 2 other computers. Any other ideas?

Click on the little wrench on the top right of the screen, select "About Chromium OS", and you should see a "Check for Updates" button.

Hi ZBoater !

Could you tell us where you find the build you are showing in your message ?

I've just tried to download from Parallels Menu (I've got Parallels Desktop 6 on MacOS 10.6.4), but it is still the old build from Nov. 2009...

I've also installed a build from hexxeh, and it's quite tricky with PD 6, but the mouse is not working very well and the automatic update is not working, so I would like to rely on a build from Parallels, as shown in your message.

Thanks

I just want to toss in another vote for this. I'd really love it if up-to-date Chrome OS builds were available.

Hello, am new to forum so please forgive me if this is a dual post.
Seems notifications in Google + are not working? Any resolution to this?
