In Parallels Desktop Pro, there is a command-line tool that can be used to clear the USB devices list that appears for devices plugged into your Mac that can be used in your virtual machine(s).

However, in Parallels Desktop Standard, this command cannot be used:

    host: tonza{885}$ prlsrvctl usb cleanup
The command is available only in Parallels Desktop for Mac Pro or Business Edition.

This is an important-enough command, because the USB devices list continuously grows every time you plug and unplug USB devices to your Mac whilst Parallels is running, and there's no way for a user to specify devices to remove from this list. Is there any way to perform something like a USB cleanup in Standard Edition? Even if it means erasing some preferences or database files or something... without damaging the Parallels installation of course! Any pointers to where this USB device list is being kept would be most welcome.

    Thanks!
