Clone option grayed out, not available

When I try to use the File | Clone option in my Parallels 6 menu, all the Clone options are grayed out and I can't use them.

Is there a setting I have to enable to be able to Clone a VM?

The virtual machine window of the virtual machine you want to clone needs to be in front and the virtual machine needs to be not running.

I have the same issue however I have met the criteria Joe mentioned above.

Can you post a screen shot? What kind of virtual machine are you trying to clone? What is the guest OS? How much free disk space do you have? Does the virtual machine work? Does it have snapshots?

Solved

I was confused about how to get the vm window available (seen). My machine starts with a Windows 7 vm there with a "start" menu. While I didnt not start, closed the window I still could not see clone option. I shut down the vm and it left a window up for restart, then I was able to see/use the vm clone.

Sorry, solved this soon, but took a while to get the post approved, or I would have corrected/deleted.
