Cloning host machine into a guest VM

Hello guys. Is it possible to restore a cloned host machine's backup (made with Super Duper o Carbon Copy) into a guest virtual hard drive and boot it into Parallels?

File > New, you create a new OSX VM, the you do what you would do on a normal mac to restore the image.
