CMD + A driving me insane and acting as "quit" in windows

Hello,

I have an issue which is really driving me insane with Parallels on MAC (M series) - every time I press CMD + A : the app I am using is quitting. The parallels keyboard layout has been selected correctly (French "AZERTY").

Can anybody help me?

This is really a deal breaker for me.. A bit surprised that such a commonly used shortcut is not seamlessly working from the start.
