It would add an incredible value to Parallels if we could see complete translation of keybindings of Cocoa apps to Parallels guest instances. For example, control-e and command-right arrow should send the cursor to the end of line. Option-Delete should delete backwards entire words. This is going to take some work and from what I hear the work is being done, so here is an extra urge that this direction be pursued as it is a real winner, especially for those of us using development tools and need real key binding consistency from Mac OS X to Windows.

One other thing of note in Coherence mode is that the command-tab combination should perform the standard Mac OS X cmd-tab rather than Windows-key-tab. It should flip between all Mac OS X and Windows Apps in terms of showing the app selector ribbon in Mac OS X that actually does show both types of applications.

An FYI for Parallels, the developer of XKeymacs seems rather experienced in hacking Windows key binding functionality, you may wish to contact him/her and subcontract out some work or training for your developers. The application is nice, but it certainly could be seriously honed for Mac OS X emulation and the base of the system could be incorporated in the Parallels Tools Center.

You need (1) to have focus on OS X before hitting cmd-tab, else the cmd-tab is given straight to the VM as a Windows-tab, actually switching between windows tasks inside the windows vm. In that ideal world, each windows VM would have a new configuration switch to choose wether the cmd-tab is to be intercepted or pass through to Windows as Windows-tab.
