for two days I have been running parallels 20 in Coherence mode, and I am noticing quite a bit performance hit, is this normal?

    1. stuttering when moving application windows around on the screen
    2. Lag and stuttering when scrolling in tables when working in Arcgis.

anyone else notice a performance hit when using Coherence mode? and are there any fix?

The fastest virtual PC is in full screen. Less integration with the Mac also boosts speed. There is a gaming setting that sets the Virtual PC this way to maximize your gaming experience.

Coherence is easier to use things like Office along with the Mac, but performance does take a hit. Integrating the PC and Mac so they share cloud drives, etc. adds functionality but also at a performance const.

How noticeable the performance hit is would depend on what you are running, RAM availability, your CPU/GPU processor and the number or cores it has, etc.
